Day 2 of World T20
Afghanistan V India
Again we saw a second tier team humbled by an international team.
Whilst you have to commend the fight Afghanistan put up, they were simply outclassed by the tournament favourites!!
It was a solid all round effort by India to begin their tournament.
Pakistan v Bangladesh
What a great performance by K. Akmal and Butt at the top of the order for Pakistan!! It was a great launching pad that Afridi and the others couldn’t quite capitalise on to take them over 200 but they did enough to get the better of a very determined Bangladesh.
Ashraful and Al Hasan batted very well and had their team in with a chance but the fight stopped with them.
The Pakistan boys are determined to put the turmoil of the past few months behind them and defend their title…….. they do look good too!!
