Shane calls upon Australia to attack England in Adelaide Test match

It's a big test for the Australia players this week in Adelaide and for the skipper. It's easy to say Ricky Ponting has to inspire his team, and in a way that's true, but inspiration and motivation lie somewhere inside everyone. It really has to come from within.
There will be good memories from four years ago for Australia, but for England there will be nightmares. The Adelaide Ashes Test four years ago was one of, if not, the best Test match I have ever been involved in.
It was belief that won Australia that Test match.
That warm fuzzy feeling will be strong in the mindset of Australia as they reminisce, but they need to show it and express it over the five days.
Australia need to come out in Adelaide with a purpose and intent to get the Poms worried quickly.
The first day is crucial to wrestle some momentum back. I would like to see them have them a plan for attacking the England batsmen, stick to it and execute it. They didn't do this in Brisbane, but it's a priority here.
Both sides have lacked penetration with the ball. I can't see how either will take 20 wickets with their current form.
Both batting line-ups, however, are strong.
Which means both teams are even and catches and winning the big moments will be the keys to opening the cabinet and taking the Ashes urn.
The toss is also crucial in Adelaide. As a rule if you win the toss and bat big in the first innings, it's hard to lose.
