Celebrity Tournament
The tournament had a good turnout of celebrities and was a lot of fun.
I was put on a great table but it was also a really tough one featuring some of the best players in the world in Joe Hachem and Gus Hansen. We also had Jesse Metcalfe from Desperate Housewives and Bernie Brookes from Myer amongst others.
The table was playing very aggressive poker which meant you either had to have cards to play or you had to be prepared to put your tournament on the line on a bluff!!
I was trying to stay patient when I looked down at AQ and thought it was time to make a move. I ended up all in against Bernie Brookes who turned over A’s, nightmare!! I couldn’t get ahead and I was out of there.
It was disappointing but all in all it was a good night put on by Crown. Hopefully I will have better luck in the main event!!
