Can anyone believe the match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut??
I am absolutely in awe of the way they both managed to hold their nerve and keep their game at such a high level for so long!! I couldn’t believe the way they kept willing themselves to deliver such commanding service feats hour after hour after hour!!
Three service breaks in 188 games in over 11 hours! Both served over 100 aces. The stats are amazing!!
When you think about all of the gruelling five setters over the years and see how tired the players are at the end of them, it makes you realise how amazing this effort is.
Consider a standard tough five set match of 4 tie breaks and 10 - 8 in the fifth. It will have a total of, maybe, 66 games and the players would be totally spent. This game was like playing 3 of those in a row!
Congratulations to both players. It was a shame someone had to be defeated.

Australia v England ODI series
England have beaten us again, we need to lift if we want to win the series!
The Poms are playing some good cricket and we just aren’t getting enough runs even though we have a few guys batting OK.
I know I am biased but I am tipping Clarkey and Punter will step up in the next match and help us post a big total. Bear (White) is looking good and is due to really take the English attack apart!
The scene is being set for a massive Ashes later in the year, as long as the Poms can actually take their A game to Australia for a change!

St Kilda v Geelong
Massive game tonight for my boys!! It is a Grand Final reply from last year and we both have some key players out.
I am tipping the Saints can get up this time in a really close, tough game. I am overseas and will have to follow it online…….. I wish I could watch it!!
